Und auch aktuell soll wieder eine solche Umstrukturierung anstehen, wie der Apple-Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo berichtet. Demnach soll das Team bis Ende des Jahres offenbar vollkommen neu aufgebaut werden.

Zuletzt hatte Apples Vice President of Technology, Kevin Lynch, der auch für die Apple Watch verantwortlich zeichnet die Aufsicht über das Projekt. Ob dies auch künftig so sein wird, ist aktuell ebenso unklar wie die weitere Ausrichtung des Projekts und Apples generelle Pläne.
